All-weekend Superpass available this week! Also, info regarding our Microsoft HD Participation

We have two big pieces of news for you this week. First, in celebration of the school year ending, we are going to be offering an All-weekend Superpass this weekend! The superpass grants you access to:
Friday all-day pass
Friday night lockin
Saturday all-day pass
Saturday night lockin
Sunday all-day pass
The price is $50 to get this all-weekend pass, good from Friday, May 16th through Sunday, May 18th. This is not a non-stop gaming marathon, however, as we will be closing from 7 AM to 12 PM (noon) Saturday morning and Sunday morning after the lockins so we can clean, restock, etc. That will give you some time to rest between long gaming shifts :)
The second big piece of news is that Gamers was chosen as one of 40 LAN centers in the entire country to participate in the Microsoft XBox Live HD program. The purpose of this promotion is for LAN centers to show off some of the available content of XBox Live, including (or perhaps especially) HD movies and TV shows.
So, on Wednesday nights and Thursday nights, we will be showing various movies (such as "I Am Legend" this week, "Batman Begins" in a few weeks, etc.) and shows on our 40" HD TV in the center of Gamers.
We also have many prizes to give away every week, including XBox Live Points (4000 and 1600 point cards), XBox shirts, XBox blankets, XBox Hot Rod face plates, memory cards, and more.
These showcases will begin Wednesday evenings and go through Thursday evenings every week, so feel free to come in and enjoy movies or shows with your friends at no cost to hang out and relax.
Here is additional lockin information:
1) The cost is $20 ($15 for members), for non-stop gaming from 10 PM Friday until 7 AM Saturday. Everyone attending the event gets a free bottle of Bawls upon arrival. ( If you want to guarantee yourselves a spot, please come pay the entry fee early. Otherwise, we can't guarantee there will be enough room). For $10 more ($30 total), you can play all day Friday as well. That's non-stop gaming action from 12 PM Friday until 7 AM Saturday (19 straight hours!)
2) The lock-in officially begins at 10 PM, and around 11 PM, we will stop admitting any new gamers. Minors will not be able to leave after 11 PM without explicit instructions given to us by their parents, and anyone who leaves will not be allowed back in. We want parents to know that their children are staying inside our facility for the duration of the lock-in.
3) Our user accounts require current addresses and phone numbers, so we will have those numbers on file if parents need to be contacted for any reason.
4) The lock-in ends at 7 AM. Please make sure your rides home are here at or before 7 AM, because that is when we close.
Note: If you are under 17 years of age: Please remember to have a parent or guardian sign the waiver form so you can play Mature rated games. If you don't have a waiver form, you can download it here.

FREE PIZZA at Friday's lockin, May 9th!

We are now taking reservations for this week's lockins on Friday, May 9th and Saturday, May 10th!
As the subject says, I'll be getting everyone pizza at the Friday lockin because I have been hard at work on a Team Fortress 2 map, and I would like to get some quality testing on it on Friday! So, we'll enjoy pizza and do our usual Counterstrike Source tournaments, and we'll check out my TF2 map and possibly give away a free lockin spot for playing that.
We're also doing a lockin on Saturday, May 10th. The cost is $20, as usual, but if you go to Friday's lockin AND Saturday's lockin, they are only $15 each, so $30 total for two lockins.
Stop in at Gamers or give us a call at 362-1344 to reserve your seats before they are all taken!

New XBoxes and TVs, GTA4, and this week's lockin!

We've added two more Xbox 360 elites and two 26" LCD TVs to go with them, and we are adding two more as soon as our next two TVs come in! We've added more copies of the essentials, like Call of Duty 4 and HALO 3, so that you can play them on our new systems, which are set up side by side for ideal team play.
By popular request, we've added one of the most anticipated titles of this year: Grand Theft Auto 4. This game is rated 'M', but if you are 17 or older (or your parents have filled out the waiver that is available below), come in and check this game out for free for 1 hour within the next two weeks.

FREE PIZZA at this lockin, April 11th!

I'm going to be getting all of us at this week's Friday lockin free pizza, and we've already started reservations (over half full), so call us at 362-1344 or stop in to reserve your seats before the rest are taken.
We have also done a couple of Saturday lockins now, and I would like to do one again this weekend, so if that is something you would be interested in, call us and let us know (or just sign up).
IGames game nights start next week. Remember that the schedule is:
Monday - Frontlines: Fuel of War
Tuesday - Call of Duty 4 (PC)
Thursday - Halo 3 (team is full)

Upcoming Game Night Tournaments

We'll be participating in this quarter's iGames tournaments, all of which have over $1500 in prizes! The game nights will be as following:
Monday - Frontlines: Fuel of War
Tuesday - Call of Duty 4 (PC)
Thursday - Halo 3
The day pass price if you are competing in these tournaments is only $5!
Starting this week, you can come in with your team(s) and practice for those same $5 day pass prices.
If you intend on participating in this season, please let me know in person or by phone (362-1344) so I can see how many teams we need for each. Thanks!
Also, if you would like to compete in COD4 on XBox, let me know and I will register us for that as well.
